Very nice for machine embroidery

The threads are thicker than regular embroidery thread that comes in a skein. They have a wax coating so it doesn’t have a shine like normal embroidery thread and the colors are not vibrant and bright. It is great for machine embroidery and for outlining a design.
It’s not great for small, detailed embroidery and hand embroidery is a bit more difficult because the thread doesn’t lay evenly like traditional embroidery thread (but that is not how these threads are intended to be used but just an observation).

Stitches well

Other brands are a lot more expensive than this. It is highly reflective and stitched well. Great for uniforms or anything that you'd like to make flashy.

many of the colors look the same but I like that they are reflective. the thread is thin so you have to be gentle with it

Very nice specialty thread

I think this embroidery thread is attractive, smooth and easy to use. It is a multi-ply thread. A colored strand is twisted with the reflective strands, which creates almost a heathered look in regular light. The first 2 pictures were taken with a flash and you can really see the bright, white reflective thread. The third picture is natural light and the reflective thread looks gray. The strands will eventually separate with handling, but I didn't find it to be a problem. If you make a fresh cut, it is easy to thread though your needle. I don't have an embroidery machine so I will be using this for hand projects and with my regular sewing machine. I really like all the colors and the reflective effect. I am going to try it on some embroidered jewelry and see what happens.

Really reflects!!

Love this stuff. It's truly reflective! The colo s are sort of heathered- grayish in daylight, and true to product pictures. I mostly do hand embroidery -- the thread us a bit more challenging than cotton thread or embroidery floss, but not impossible. It tended to develop twists and broke more easily than cotton sewing thread (no surprise there) but was comparable to embroidery floss ITO strength. It's just a matter of learning the quirks of a new material. Highly recommend if you want to use your creativity to add reflective touches to your clothes.
